Madlib shirt
Madlib is a producer and rapper signed to LA's Stones Throw records. One of the most prolific and critically acclaimed producers of the 2000s, he has worked with some of the biggest names in rap music including J-Dilla, MF DOOM and Freddie Gibbs.
In 2012 I was approached by Jeff Jank, Creative Director of Stones Throw Records and asked to design a tour shirt for Madlib's European and Australian tour. The shirt was re-released in limited edition gold screenprint to commemorate the end of the Mayan calendar on 21st December 2012.
Four colour screen print on plain white and plain black cotton t-shirts
The shirt was sold at live shows and on Madlib's Rappcatt's website. The graphic was also used on a promo mixtape released in collaboration with Carhartt and used as a backdrop on stage.
