In 2021 I created a new series of animations for Kiefer to promote the launch of his new EP “Between Days”. The first series I did in 2019 showed him in a variety of different public places playing his piano. Given the year that followed and the way in which the pandemic completely upended our lives I thought it would be interesting to reflect that change in the animations for Kiefer. So I created a series which showed him alone, locked down in an apartment slowly descending into complete apathy before coming out the other side again. I also created a teaser animation to bridge the gap between these two series.
