In 2018 I worked on a cover for producer J.D. Reid's new mixtape "Tree". It was a follow up to 2017's Calibrate which I also designed the artwork for. The two records had been written after a trip he had taken to Japan and had a different but complimentary sound to each other - Calibrate sounding dark and brooding and Tree sounding much more serene. I wanted the two covers to have the same sort of Yin and Yang feel to their design.
